Working out isn't always fun. Sometimes it's a drag and feels like more of a chore than a fun activity. Here are some ways to break through this barrier and to start finding your fitness journey that's perfectly tailored to you, & your needs!

Experiment
Take free classes, try different gyms, try using different equipment and tools to get your exercise in. Try everything you possibly can to find what you truly enjoy. There are so many ways to work up a sweat. As long as your actively moving and engaging in some form of exercise with intention, you will always stay fit. I'm not saying you have to work out everyday, find a routine that works for you and your body. Start small and work your way up. Maybe start with 30 minute workouts 2 or 3 days a week and adjust to your schedule.
Make a Plan
Plan your workout time ahead, make it part of your day schedule. Setting aside time to workout makes you more likely to actually do it. Planning with intention will help you set goals. This will help you balance your schedule and have a structure for a balanced lifestyle. Balancing your busy lifestyle will improve your productivity and keep you on track.
Fight the Negativity
Stop being so hard on yourself. Working out starts to seem less fun when you start putting too much pressure on yourself to be the best or to meet your goals right away. Give yourself a break. It's okay to take a rest day, in fact you should! Sometimes if I'm not seeing results as quickly as I would like to I get discouraged, that everything I'm doing is for nothing. That type of thinking kills my vibe every single time. What I've learned is that you have to focus on how far you've come in the present, not where you want to be in the future. Focusing on "the now" is so important to keeping a positive mind set. Another tip; stop comparing yourself to other people. Focus on you and your strengths. Build yourself up because no one else is going to.
Get Motivated
This is a strategy that I like to use to get myself to want to work out. I like to watch workout videos on YouTube to get myself to want to copy those workouts. I also always make a plan for what I'm going to do after my workout that will be better after I've worked out. For example, if I workout relaxing and watching a movie will be so much better because I did something productive beforehand. Other things I motivate myself with are to get a coffee or go shopping, or eat tacos after my workout. This helps me get through my workout and by the end, I usually don't even follow through with what I planned on rewarding myself with. After the fact your body is so much more energized and it feels so good to have accomplished something that you set your mind to on your own.
