Find Your Best Fit; Foundation Edition

I have tried tons of foundations and I have a bunch in my collection that do different things for my skin. Here are the best foundations I've tried and still use, that have different qualities and accomplish different skin goals-- hopefully this guide helps you find your perfect match!

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation; This foundation is my #1 because it makes your face look like you're not wearing anything at all. This creamy formula melts into the skin leaving a radiant finish that looks like skin. It's not too dewy or too matte, it's completely neutral. The coverage is medium to full and is very easily built up. There are over twenty shades to choose from. This is a perfect everyday foundation for all skin types.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foundation; The formula of this foundation is super light weight and blends flawlessly into the skin. It's perfect for people with dry skin because it's water-based and adds hydration to the skins barrier along with providing your skin with sun protection with SPF 15. This leaves a satin finish with natural medium coverage. This is for people who like to have their freckles show through but also conceal any uneven skin tone and minor imperfections.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Stick Foundation; Foundation in stick form is super convenient for the girl on the go. It's very easy to apply and blends out quickly. This formula is buttery smooth and provides medium to full coverage. In my experience, I notice this works better on my t-zone where I'm more oily. It tends to flake on my dry areas, therefore this is more for people with oily skin. The coverage lasts a good 8 hours and gives the skin a radiant matte finish.

Bareminerals Barepro Liquid Foundation; This foundation is very full coverage and lasts all day long. It does not budge. This foundation is best for people with oily and/or combination skin, however it will not dry your skin out if you're on the drier side. This is another foundation that has sun protection, it contains SPF 20. This leaves a demi-matte finish that doesn't emphasis dry patches or wrinkles. This foundation is perfect for a full glam look but can also be worn everyday for someone who likes full coverage.

Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation; If you're looking for a dewy radiant finish this foundation is for you! The coverage is medium but can be built up to full. This does last all day and leaves the skin looking natural and very hydrated. The shades have varying undertones which makes it easy to find a shade that fits for you, which is surprising for a drugstore foundation. This also contains SPF 18.
