2019 Staples

All the things from 2019 that I will no longer live without-- beauty, fashion, fitness edition.

Everything that I've added to my collection this year that I think are staple pieces that will stand the test of time are linked below!

1) Fenty Beauty Hydrating Foundation: this foundation isn't too dewy and leaves the skin looking fresh and youthful.

2) E.L.F Translucent Setting Powder: This $6.00 powder performs at the same level as high-end makeup brands. There is no flash back, it fills in fine lines like a dream, and leaves a soft matte blurred finish.

3) Tarte Stay Spray: the best setting spray to date! My makeup lasts all day with this. It helps to lock in moisture without making you look too dewy.

4) Jouer hydrating concealer: looks like your skin but better. Extremely soft and hydrating without being too heavy. ($29 at Sephora)

5) Marc Jacobs Youthquake Moisturizer: hydrates, plumps, and retexturizes the skin. I love this because it keeps my skin from drying our throughout the day. I can really feel it soaking into the skin and not just laying on top. ($49 at Sephora)

6) Tortoise Print everything:

Earrings, sunglasses, and shoes are accents I own in tortoise print that will stand the test of time.

7) Givenchy Mini Antigona: this bag fits it all and is extremely versatile. I have the sugar-coated leather which is soft and durable. This is the perfect every day bag that can be dressed up too. Retails for $1,790. I bought this bag pre-loved from Tradesy at a discounted price.

8) Gymshark X Whitney Simmons Leggings: absolutely worth scowering the Internet to find them over-priced as they are limited edition and will not be restocked on Gymshark. I bought the pink ones for $50 on Gymshark and the black ones I found on Poshmark (brand new) for $77. Every detail of these leggings shows. They are sweat wicking and booty shaping.

9) Ralph Lauren x Friends turtle-neck sweater : this is a basic piece that goes with everything. Any black knit turtle neck sweater or bodysuit will have the same effect. It is a classic piece that looks smart and polished with any casual, dressy, or work outfit.

10) PUMA Sneakers: these chunky sneakers are very on trend right now but this particular style that's all white can be paired with multiple outfits. The chunky sneaker trend doesn't seem to be going away in 2020!

11) Eyelure magnetic eyelashes $13.99 (Ulta): These are much easier than gluing on falsies and a lot less damaging than lash extenstions. They are perfect for a night out look when you want to look extra glam.

12) PlantFusion Protein Powder-- Red Velvet flavor: I love this plant based protein powder because it doesn't tast chalky or like fake sugar. Plant based proteins have much more nutrients than whey in which your body is absorbing protein derived from a healthy source. This mixes great into an flavor smoothie too! ($20-$40 on Amazon depending on the size)

13) The Native Vanilla Deodorant : this aluminum free deodorant smells great and lasts throughout the day. ($12 from Target)

These products that I found in 2019 will stand the test of time and carry over into 2020 with me. I appreciate buying things that the quality justifies the price point. I like to incorporate staple pieces that you can wear/ re-use over and over again without it losing it's value or breaking. I hope you check these out and love them just as much as I do.
